During Jane Fonda's marriage to director Rodger Vadim she starred in his 1968 science fiction cult classic Barbarella.
Jane Fonda, as Barbarella, plays a highly sexual woman with the task of saving the galaxy from the evil Durand-Durand. Along the way she encounters various unusual men (and woman).
